Open Call: LALKA NOVA 3 International Performance Conference

The Stanisław Wyspiański Academy of Theater Arts in Krakow, Wrocław Branch, announces open recruitment for the third edition of the LALKA NOVA 3 International Performing Arts Conference, which will take place on November 26–28, 2025, in Wrocław at the Puppetry Department. The theme of this year’s edition is CONNECTIONS – understood as the relationships between humans, technology, puppets, artistic form, identity, and science.

We invite researchers, artists, scientists, interdisciplinary creators, and students who want to share the results of their research or creative practice to participate. You can submit:

* scientific presentations and papers,
* performative presentations and installations,
* workshops,
* artistic projects in progress (pitching).

The LALKA NOVA conference is a unique global event and the first of its kind in Poland, combining scientific and artistic perspectives to create a space for the presentation of innovative research and creative experiments that redefine contemporary puppetry and the performing arts.
